Google’s Rich Results Test has been upgraded to provide validation of structured data for paywalled content. Now, the tool will indicate whether a site is using the proper structured data for paywalled content or not.

The rich results tool is available on Google’s own site, designed and maintained to display Google Search rich result types. According to Google, “to test your markup for Google Search rich result types, you can continue to use the Rich Results Test.” This tool allows you to preview how rich results can look in Google Search.
In their announcement, Google stated:
So, give it a try on any paywalled URLs to validate that Google Search recognizes the proper markup being used.
