Google is reportedly developing Generative AI tools that might be useful for advertisers and YouTube creators according to internal documents cited by CNBC. Google plans to power these AI tools with PaLM 2 and generate crucial media assets. While previous reports suggested that generative AI will assist advertisers in remixing current assets into ads, Google intends to create such assets in the new report.
Moreover, Google has been examining PaLM 2 to define YouTube content intended for younger generation individuals, such as headlines and descriptions. For creators, the company is trying to experiment with the idea of delivering five video ideas based on relevant topics. The integration of generative AI will become an extremely helpful addition to advertisers given conversion rates are low and CPLs are increasing. Amazon and Meta are also testing generative AI for advertisers or will be soon.
This year’s Google Marketing Live, which is happening on May 23, is expected to revolve mostly around AI enhancements. Could any of these AI solutions be officially declared next week?
